More and more Training.

Not much actual parkour outside, due to snow on the ground, and its really cold outside.
hope you like the new pix i drew, after training, though.

What I do for training, if you're wondering.
Beginning of Day: 10-15 pushups
20-40 situps
25-? weight lifting

End of Day: 15-25 pushups
50-? situps
30-? weight lifting

Of course, this can fluctuate a little or a lot depending on the time allotted.
So, now that you know, go do it! or better, beat it! if you're in parkour, this may be your usual training, give or take, and if you're not interested in parkour, go do it anyway! its good for you!
Go tell your friends. they may like it and start training. which is great.

over and vaulted,
Aleck

Training, games, and birthdays

training as usual. not much else.
my dads birthday today, and he got an ipod touch! I may be pretty committed to parkour, but i do have an affection for technology and the internet. i know technology enough to surf the web for parkour pics, videos and blogs, and if you found my blog due to surfing on the web, well then good for you! it's nice to know you have found this blog through your passion for parkour. and if you just so happened to stumble to upon this blog and are reading this for the fun of it, i recommend you look up some parkour videos, you may be interested in it, or you might know someone who would be. if you do, tell them! by all means! go forth and spread the word of Parkour!
its cold here where i live, if you thought i lived near the equator, you were incorrect in your assumption. see, i know big words. i would love to live near the equator, though. it would mean parkour practice outside instead of inside all day.
it was a nice day yesterday, and i failed to realize its potential for parkour until it was too late. i was playing a video game when i thought i should go outside, but alas, it was too dark due to daytime savings. i did think ,though, that i've had that particular game for a few years, and i was about to beat it, so in the name of parkour, i resolved to try to beat it that day, because if i need to learn quickness and efficiency, i think beating my game asap would be good for me, but i still haven't beaten it yet. But ,for the sake of quickness and efficiency, i will tell you asap when i complete it, alright? good.
training as usual. nothing else new.

Parkour

Hey all you parkour fans.
Training here is going well, since I cant do much else, because its very very cold outside, and, as you may know, its hard to do parkour when its cold. My training now consists of 20-50 pushups everyday. and possibly 50-70 situps, schedule permitting. i also try to practice breakrolling as often as possible, since my basement is carpeted, it helps cushion the breakroll a lot. But its just a practice for inside, once i get outside, the breakroll itself must be altered just a little to save efficiency when used for outside parkour.

Training

I was practicing in my yard yesterday, and I realized theres a lot more to train on than I thought.
the pole we use for the hammock, for example, was great to practice balancing on. The laundry pole was good for chin-ups. the yard in general was good for practicing breakrolling, and i got on the garage was great for high-up jumps. I was gonna see what else would be good for training on, but that night it snowed, so it was too cold and icy to practice on anything for the time being.
Be prepared for a lot of training news in the future, but dont expect any videos or anything like that anyitme soon. It's winter here, so training outside will be restricted to running, if anything at all. thanks for listening.

And thanks for watching!
(this was done last year,
but I lost the file on my
computer, so I had to embed
from YouTube, Enjoy!) Its on YouTube, but due to a scandal at school, you must view it on my page, but anyway, Enjoy!

parkour

Hello. I'm aleck. i practice parkour.

If you don't know what parkour or freerunning is, don't run out, buy a dictionary and look it up. (it's probably not in there, anyway) I'll tell you right here. its what this blog is about.
Parkour- in the simplest English definition, it means getting from point A to point B as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
i do parkour. and thats why i started this blog. but right now i have a basketball game to go to.
more later.
